Dr. Shauna Gammage is dedicated to providing gentle, high-quality dental care in a relaxed, family-friendly environment.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Bennett College and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, followed by a General Dentistry Residency in Tucson and Casa Grande, Arizona.
As the founder and owner of Family & Cosmetic Dentistry of Decatur, Dr. Gammage has been caring for patients since 1999. She is an active member of the Georgia Dental Association, North Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Known for her patient-centered approach, she takes extra care to help those with dental anxiety, offering nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to ensure a comfortable and stress-free experience.
Jamila J. Jenkins, DDS
What began as a teenage job in our office as a patient coordinator and dental assistant has grown into a fulfilling career—today, Dr. Jenkins is back as a dentist, serving the same community where her love for dentistry first began.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Georgia, her Doctorate from the University of Colorado, and completed a General Dental Practice Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. With this strong educational foundation, Dr. Jenkins is thrilled to bring her skills and passion back home.
Known for her gentle touch and calming approach, Dr. Jenkins takes pride in helping patients feel at ease. She is often praised for her ability to ease any dental anxiety and make treatments as comfortable as possible. To support patients with dental anxiety, she offers options such as oral sedation and nitrous oxide (laughing gas), ensuring a relaxed and stress-free experience
Leah Asher, DMD
Dr. Leah Asher is passionate about dentistry and committed to creating a positive experience for every patient she treats. She takes the time to clearly explain diagnoses and treatment options, helping patients feel informed and confident in their care.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Georgia and her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Georgia Medical College. With this strong foundation, Dr. Asher brings both knowledge and compassion to her work.
She finds the greatest joy in seeing how even small improvements can make a big difference—helping patients smile more confidently and feel less self-conscious. Dentistry’s hands-on nature and the balance it provides with family life are what she values most about her profession.
